How do I get to perform at the Peace Festival?

The next festival
will be held on
June 19-20, 2010

We welcome performers from all music genres. We want to present as wide a variety as possible in terms of age, gender and ethnicity. We always give priority to local performers who can be sure of playing alongside celebrated festival acts from the UK and around the world.
We have a very limited budget so we are only able to pay basic expenses and to help us to select the acts we need from over 200 applicants, we ask you to complete our simple application form between November and January. You will then be invited to submit a demo by CD or online. Please do not send in speculative demos.
Submissions are heard by the committee who have a difficult decision to make as the standard is always high. But quality is not the sole deciding factor. We also have to give prominence to a proportion of local acts, give a varied programme of musical styles and try to avoid repeating acts who have played in recent years.
