MUTANT GREEN PEAS
August 27th - Moretonhampstead saw a weird event in the development of genetic engineering when three Green party activists who had spent the day campaigning in the town were observed at 6pm to mutate into weird alien lifeforms. Reports are that the lifeforms consisted of a Frankenstein mix of the genes humans and peas and took on uncontrollable characteristics of their own. Each of the three mutations were characterised by four green globe like heads which bore some similarity to peas. These heads were encased in a long pod like body with appendages which could be described as a cross between hands and tendrils. Ironic indeed that a Green Party stall set up near the town centre earlier in the day was displaying flyers outlining the dangers and the unpredictable consequences of genetically engineered food.
