DORSET MEETINGS
The Dorset genetics Group has held two very successful public meetings on 15 & 16th of September in Bridport & Dorchester. The speakers were Mark Griffith (Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor, Environmental Sopkesperson for the Natural Law Party) & LukeAnderson from the Totnes GE Group. Both succeeded in opening many peoples eyes to the more sinister aspects of GE that Government & Biotech companies have been papering over. A medical geneticist admitted he was "shocked" at the lax standards employed by the government. The result? Lots more fired up people ready to be active in the area & a new local group.
