THE
BAUDELAIRE BROTHERS are a Birkenhead-based band that defies categorisation.
THE BAUDELAIRE BROTHERS have used the Delta blues
as the departure point for their increasingly adventurous musical journeys.
Steeped in the music of Son House, Robert Johnson and John Lee Hooker, they
see their mission as the recreation of the juke joint atmosphere – dancing
normally breaks out at their gigs – with a blend of integrity and innovation.
You will move to the stomping rhythms, whilst exploring new acoustic scenery
embracing Celtic, Eastern, Americana and psychedelic influences. Like a Jack
Kerouac novel, no-one is quite sure where all of this will end up.
Gigs:
Saturday 12th January - The Zanzibar Seel Street Liverpool
